2018 Project Calendar

January is CABO's service month.  Members made squares for the Bead-It-Forward international project to raise funds for breast cancer research.  This year, for the first time, we also made jewelry to give to Pharaoh's Daughter, a non-profit that cares for infant children of incarcerated mothers.  The jewelry will be raffled by Pharaoh's Daughter to raise funds for their efforts.

Warped Squares

Led by Barbara Gautreaux and Jennifer Halloran

In March, we'll bring our UFO's to finish.  We will also have a beading component sale during the meeting.

Our April project will be the Ciena necklace, made using SuperDuos, size 11and size 15 seed beads.

Our May project will be learning to bezel a cabochon.  A generous stash of cabochons was donated to CABO.  You are free to choose one of these (shown below) or supply your own.  CABO will provide the Lacy's Stiff Stuff for backing.

Isabella Lam will visit, fresh from her teaching engagement at Bead and Button.  She'll be teaching her new stitch, the Cinch Stitch.

Naomi Profesorsky will lead a project of her own design called Easy Elegant Earrings.
